Water and Sewer
Utilities Supervisor: Mark De Jaegher
The Municipality has 4 utility systems; Gladstone, Langruth, Plumas & Yellowhead.
Gladstone, Westbourne, and many of our Rural Residents have their water supplied by the Yellowhead
Distribution Line from Portage. Langruth has it's own water treatment facility.
Utilities are billed quarterly in each location. The rates are displayed on the bills as well as the billing period. To know if you bill has been read or estimated you will find either an "A" or "E" beside your consumption value. "A" stands for Actual Read and E stands for Estimate. You are required to notify the Municipality when you are moving either in, or out of a residence, if the utilities are part of your responsibilities.
