COVID-19 UPDATE 


Dear Gladstone Golf & Country Club Members & Public,
Gladstone Golf & Country Club would like to welcome everyone to the 2020 Golf Season. As we prepare for opening during this unprecedented time, please be aware that there are new rules- enforced by Public Health- which we will be required to follow. They are as follows:

  • Staff must use the self-screening tool before coming to work.
  • Employees must stay home when ill and customers are not allowed entry if they are ill with COVID-19 symptoms, are a returning traveler or have been in contact with anyone who has contracted the virus.
  • Signs indicating physical distancing protocols will be posted
  • Floor markings to be installed to dictate where service will be offered or lines form.
  • The main door will be the only point of entry.
  • No more than 10 people may gather in common areas.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at entrances and exits for public and staff use.
  • Washrooms will have frequent sanitation and a regime for the business will be in place.
  • A maximum of four (4) golfers per group is allowed, only one person per cart unless they are from the same household.
  • Pins/ Flags to remain in the hole at all times.
  • Ball washing stations will not be operable.
  • Cashless or no-contact payment should be used to the greatest extent possible.

In an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy at GG&CC, the Executive Board has also implemented these rules for the time being:

  • A maximum of four (4) people allowed in the clubhouse (other than staff), at one time.
  • All carts will be sanitized between rentals.
  • Along with ball washers, no sand boxes or rakes will be operable.
  • Please refrain from picking up others " lost: golf balls.
  • All broken tees to be put in the garbage.
  • No push cart or club rentals.
  • Driving range will be open and all balls will be sanitized after pickup.

Please note that should the GG&CC be enforced upon for members not following the Public Health Orders, this could possibly put the season in jeopardy for all of us, so please act accordingly.

All memberships and storage fees are due June 1st, 2020. If you would like to pay by direct deposit, please use your phone number (eg. 3852998) as your account number. In addition, anyone may also make e-transfer payments to golfgladstone@gmail.com

The Executive Board would like to thank everyone for their patience and wishes all golfers a safe and healthy season.

Gladstone Golf & Country Club provides area enthusiasts with conveniently located 9 holes. The par 36 course is located 4 kilometres south of Gladstone (25 kilometres north of the Trans Canada Highway #1 along Provincial Highway #34).

The layout possesses some beautiful scenery and landscaped gardens.

The greens are large and quite demanding due to their deceptive undulations and many challenging pin placements.The Gladstone Golf & Country Club also has a driving range, a practice green and fairway yardage markers.

The club welcomes public green fee players as well as its club members.

The spacious clubhouse and outdoor patio feature a fully licensed restaurant that can accommodate up to 60 people for lunch or supper.The pro shop offers club rentals, pull cart rentals, power cart rentals, basic golf supplies, and apparel. Both the pro shop and restaurant accept Interact, MasterCard, and Visa.

The clubhouse is open during the season from 8:30 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. (depending upon sunset) during weekdays, and from 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. on weekends.
