If you are pre-planning your arrangements for cremation, or if you are making arrangements for a loved one who has passes away, one of the options to consider is placing the remains in a columbarium niche. This can be a great way of accommodating a loved one's wishes to be cremated while still having a somewhere to visit them. 

Our outdoor columbarium niches, surrounded by nature, provide a truly tranquil setting for cremated remains at both Gladstone and Plumas Cemeteries.  

A final resting place is a sacred space where friends and family members will visit for generations to come not only to grieve but also to honor and remember. 

Niche Options

Each niche is designed to fit two standard sized urns. Our Columbariums are 100% granite constructions using only Nelson Granite quarried from Northwestern Ontario. All of our Columbariums are 100% environmentally conscious Canadian granite. Columbariums made of 100% granite are a forever product and have a significantly smaller carbon footprint than those who incorporate aluminum or concrete.

Each niche includes a wreath style plaque that can be engraved with up to two names

Memorial walls are a place for families and friends to go and remember their loved ones, whose remains have been laid to rest else where. These plaques are installed in the end walls of the columbarium at the end location of your choice.
