The Municipality of WestLake- Gladstone in partnership with FoodCycle Science participated in a pilot project to gain information on waste diversion and promote composting.

Foodcyclers were provided to 75 residents who expressed interest at a subsidized cost. Following the completion of the 12-week pilot program, participants were able to keep their units and continue their contribution to waste diversion.
